One of America's treasures is the state of Maine, where greenery is revered, commercialism is kept in check, coastlines are dramatic, and life is simpler. My state of mind alters when I travel up and down the coast of Maine discovering quaint fishing harbors full of lobster boats, buoy adorned fishing shacks, and the unique display of lighthouses. And not to be overlooked is the incredible Acadia National Park with a diversity of landscapes from craggy coastlines, boulder and sandy beaches, birch lined paths, pristine lakes, carriage bridges and so much more.
