When you come across a good bench, park yourself there for a moment or two and see what the seat has to reveal around you. I've come across many benches, some in clusters, most of them isolated, and even ones that resemble an open book or an old wooden lobster trap. Just imagine how many people have stopped to rest on these and other benches. What were they contemplating as they sat there?
